Isaiah Thomas has proven his worth with the Sacramento Kings, and has shown that he is far better than being Mr. Irrelevant. The man plays with a chip on his shoulder and exudes confidence, and it could mean a more expanded role as time goes by.
Still. Despite all that. Thomas doing things like this to seasoned players like Wesley Matthews is just plain dirty.

Kind of hard to see how Thomas managed to get the best of Matthews here, but that's exactly what happened. Matthews went up weak thinking that he had an easy path to the rim with no one of significant height in his way, and Thomas went up strong and proved that 5'8" is plenty significant enough. That block proved to be a plenty crucial play in Sacramento's comeback victory over Portland. Young Zeke indeed.
