Sacramento Kings Start Post All-Star Break Right, Beat Utah Jazz 103-96

The Sacramento Kings were involved in a physical intense contest against the Utah Jazz on Tuesday night to start off the Post All-Star Break part of the season. But Sacramento got solid production all season from everyone involved.

DeMarcus Cousins was the workhorse inside, finishing with 22 points and 18 rebounds, including eight on the offensive side of the ball. Marcus Thornton added 22 points, Isaiah Thomas put in 18 points and eight assists, Tyreke Evans had 13 points and Jason Thompson added ten points of his own. Sacramento only shot 44% of the field, but they managed to hit 22 free throws to narrowly edge things out in the final minute. The Kings used a brief surge halfway through the fourth to take the lead for good.

Utah got solid production from Devin Harris (18 points), Josh Howard (15 points), C.J. Miles (13 points), and Al Jefferson (12 points, 8 rebounds). But Sacramento just made enough of a push thanks to the great work by Cousins, Thornton and Thomas.
