Kings Vs. Magic Score: Tyreke Evans Sprains Ankle, Orlando Up 49-47 Over Sacramento

Stay connected for news and updates

Tyreke Evans might have just sustained a significant ankle injury that could hamper the chances of the Sacramento Kings to beat the Orlando Magic. It's a close game at halftime, but Evans's ankle could keep him from being a significant factor (if any factor at all) in the second half. You can see an image of Tyreke tweaking his ankle here.

It's too bad, because the Sacramento guard was having a good game up to this point. Evans has 15 points on six of eight shooting and DeMarcus Cousins has 12 points and six rebounds. J.J. Hickson has eight points and six rebounds, Travis Outlaw six points. The Magic have gotten nothing from Dwight Howard due to foul trouble (zero points, zero rebounds), while Jason Richardson and Glen Davis lead Orlando with eleven points each. Sacramento is getting to the free throw line at a better rate, but they can't hit any threes and have five more turnovers.
