The Sacramento Kings put up no resistance whatsoever against the Denver Nuggets in a blowout defeat. The Kings gave up 32 points in the first quarter, were outscored 34-17 in the second quarter as they were down 23 at halftime, then gave up another 56 points in the second half. The Nuggets only hit two three pointers, but that hardly mattered as the Kings gave up over 60% shooting from inside the arc. Denver used excellent passing to execute their offense, with 29 assists to 13 turnovers (compared to 19 assists and 16 turnovers for Sacramento).
All five Denver starters and two bench players were in double figures, with Danilo Gallinari leading the way with 23 points on 8 of 12 shooting. Andre Miller had 15 points and 10 assists, Nene Hilario had 16 points, Corey Brewer had 15 points, Ty Lawson put in 11 points, Kosta Koufos had 10 points and 7 rebounds, and Al Harrington added 10 points.
