Evans had 27 points, four rebounds and three assists, and Thornton added in 25 points, six rebounds and five steals. Chuck Hayes had 10 rebounds and J.J. Hickson had nine, while Jimmer Fredette added seven points, five assists and two steals off the bench. John Salmons also provided 13 points.
