When the Sacramento Kings drafted Jimmer Fredette in this year's NBA Draft, they knew they were getting a guy with some solid range behind the three-point line. One has to wonder how much they scouted out his range from beyond half court. After the jump, check out video of Fredette dropping some half-court shots at his latest youth basketball camp earlier this week. The first two shots look pretty similar with Jimmer hitting nothing but net. The third shot went off the backboard. No word on whether Jimmer called backboard before shooting.
It shouldn't be too surprising that Fredette can knock down such deep shots with relative ease. He took a lot of shots at BYU but generally did an excellent job making the shots. More importantly, he found a way to create his shot even as he was being covered by multiple defenders. It will be interesting to see how well he can create his shot at the next level.
