The Oakland Raiders and the San Diego Chargers face each other to finish off the 2012 NFL regular season.
Both the Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers will wrap up pretty miserable regular seasons today, with both head coaches facing the hot seat. 4-11 Oakland tries to win their second road game of the season, while 6-9 San Diego looks to make a tough season a little bit more salvageable. The game will be televised at 4:25 p.m. Eastern, 1:25 p.m. local time in San Diego on CBS.
The Raiders have been in free fall since a 3-4 start, managing only one win in the last eight games. Dennis Allen has not had a promising start in replacing Hue Jackson in Oakland, as the Raiders have dipped as a team across the board.
The Chargers are finishing the season better, but not by much. San Diego also had a stretch where they won only one of eight head-to-head matchups, but they did recover to beat Pittsburgh and the Jets in two of the last three contests. Chargers head coach Norv Turner and general manager A.J. Smith are rumored to be out the door after this game, win or lose.
