Oakland's Tyvon Branch did not practice again on Thursday as he recovers from neck and ankle injuries.
Oakland Raiders safety Tyvon Branch missed practice for the second straight day on Thursday. He's nursing both an ankle and neck injury.
Branch left last week's game against the Denver Broncos with the ankle injury and has been limited by the injury since Week 11. He missed one game this season due to the neck problem, but has been able to practice with it the last few weeks. Instead, it appears the ankle injury is what is keeping him out of practice this week. According to a report, Branch worked with a trainer during Thursday's practice. Raiders coach Dennis Allen said he was "hopeful" Branch would be able to practice Friday.
While Branch sat out, the rest of the Raiders practiced in at least a limited fashion on Thursday. That included defensive tackle Reichard Seymour. Seymour missed the last five games with knee and hamstring injures, but was a limited participant in practice for the second straight day.
