Raiders vs. Buccaneers score update: Oakland leads Tampa Bay 3-0 after first quarter

The Oakland Raiders have a slim 3-0 lead over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers following the first quarter of play.

Oakland put points on the board thanks to a 29 yard field goal by kicker Sebastian Janikowski in the closing seconds of the quarter. Earlier, Tampa Bay kicker Connor Barth had a 35 yard attempt blocked.

Neither offense has been able to get much of a passing or running game going. The Raiders have accumulated just 42 yards of total offense, compared to 55 for the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay has six first downs to Oakland's three.

Oakland quarterback Carson Palmer is 5/11 for 24 yards, while Tampa Bay quarterback Josh Freeman is 4/7 for 26 yards.

Tampa Bay running back Doug Martin has five rushes for 22 yards compared to four rushes for 18 yards for Darren McFadden.
