Raiders vs. Ravens score update: Baltimore leads to 27-10 at halftime

The Baltimore Ravens lead the Oakland Raiders, 27-10, at halftime in M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday. The Ravens have had an answer for each Raiders score thus far, and Baltimore built on its lead in the second quarter.

Oakland trailed 10-0 early, but looked poised to get back into the game when Michael Huff intercepted Baltimore quarterback Joe Flacco deep in Ravens territory. The Raiders offense couldn't take full advantage, as they settled for a short field goal from Sebastian Janikowsi.

Baltimore answered right back on their ensuing possession. Flacco hit Julio Jones on a 47-yard pass to put the Ravens into Oakland territory, then Dennis Pitta caught a 5-yard touchdown to cap the 80-yard scoring drive.

The Ravens would add a 34-yard field goal from Justin Tucker after Carson Palmer was intercepted by Paul Kruger. Palmer would redeem himself soon after, leading the Raiders on a touchdown drive before halftime,

Darrius Heyward-Bey caught a 55-yard touchdown pass, in which he forced a missed tackle by safter Ed Reed, to cut into Baltmore's lead with 1:46 to go in the second quarter. Palmer has put up big yardage numbers, with 198 yards in the first half.

The Ravens would score quickly in the two-minute drill, and extend their lead back to 17 when Ray Rice scored on a 7-yard run with 27 seconds left before the break.
