The first place San Diego Chargers have a chance to build some separation in the division with a win against the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football. Meanwhile, the Oakland Raiders will struggle to compete after falling to Atlanta in Week 6.

The Oakland Raiders fell to 1-4 and squandered an opportunity to get themselves back into the mix with a road upset in Atlanta. The team fell a field goal short of accomplishing that feat, and instead lost to the Falcons, 23-30.

The Kansas City Chiefs took a loss that will move them into last place at 1-5, after a 38-10 defeat at the hands of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the road. They'll use a bye week during Week 7 in order to get healthy and fix the issues they're having on both sides of the ball. The 3-2 San Diego Chargers will square off against the 2-3 Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football in a game that could reshape the entire scope of the AFC West.

With a victory, the 3-2 Chargers would have a solid hold on first place while the 2-3 Broncos would fall back with the rest of the pack and have a difficult time of catching San Diego in the coming weeks.

Oakland will host Jacksonville on Oct. 21 and try to climb back into the division race.
