Stay connected for news and updates

The Oakland Raiders allowed six unanswered points in the third quarter and are now tied with the Atlanta Falcons at 13 apiece entering the final quarter of play.

The Falcons closed the gap to 13-10 after a nine-play, 47-yard drive ended with a 41-yard field goal by kicker Matt Bryant. On the next possession, Oakland quarterback Carson Palmer was sacked and fumbled the ball, which was recovered by defensive end John Abraham.

The Raiders were able to keep Atlanta from advancing the ball any further following the turnover, but the Falcons managed to tie things up after a 20-yard field goal by Bryant.

The Raiders have outgained the Falcons in total offense, 281-217. Oakland has also kept running back Michael Turner at bay, as he has accumulated just eight carries for 23 yards. Matt Ryan has been picked off three times by Oakland's secondary, although he had no interceptions in the third quarter.
