Oakland Raiders wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey (concussion) returned to the practice field on Wednesday after taking a blow to the head from Pittsburgh Steelers defensive back Ryan Mundy in a Week 3 34-31 win at home. He has not played or practiced since suffering the injury, but at this point it appears he could make his return on Sunday vs. the Atlanta Falcons.
Tight end Brandon Meyers and running back Darren McFadden were also listed as a full participants following shoulder injuries. TE David Ausberry (shoulder), RB Taiwan Jones (shoulder) and OL Alex Parsons round out the list of injured players who managed to turn in a full practice.
Kicker Sebastian Janikowski was limited on Wednesday while nursing a left groin injury along with defensive end Richard Seymour with a knee. The players held out were T Khalif Barnes (groin), TE Richard Gordon (hamstring), and CB Shawntae Spencer (foot).
The Raiders will need to be as healthy as possible as they travel to the East Coast to face the Falcons in Atlanta on Sunday at the Georgia Dome at 10 p.m. PT.
