OTAs are unofficial offseason workouts for NFL players that are used as the bridge between NFL training camp and the previous season. There are usually up to a dozen OTAs for each football team. The Oakland Raiders announced that this year's OTAs will take place on over several weeks, starting with the week of May 14th-15th, continuing on through May 17th, moving on to May 21st and 22nd, then a break again before starting up on May 24th, then concluding on June 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th.
The Raiders will also have their minicamps taking place during this time, with one for the rookies and another for everyone. The rookie minicamp takes place during a three-day span of May 11th, 12th and 13th; the next minicamp takes place on June 12th, 13th and 14th.
Talk about the minicamp and OTA dates with Raiders fans at Silver and Black Pride.
