2012 NFL Draft Results: Oakland Raiders Select Christo Bilukidi At No. 189

Stay connected for news and updates

With the 189th pick in the 2012 NFL draft, the Oakland Raiders select Christo Bilukidi, defensive tackle, out of Georgia State. The Raiders go back to the defensive side of the ball with their sixth round pick by taking a project defensive tackle. Bilukidi has good size at 6'4 307 pounds and has good agility for his size.

This is a very intriguing pick by the Raiders. Most had Bilukidi as an undrafted free agent who would be more of a practice squad player. McKenzie could have taken a risk and hoped Bilukidi was still available when the Raiders draft in the 7th round, but likely did not want to take a chance with it. Perhaps McKenzie sees something in him that others have missed.
