Raiders Vs. Dolphins Inactives: Rolando McClain Active After Raiders Investigation

The Oakland Raiders and Miami Dolphins released their inactive lists for Sunday and Oakland elected to keep middle linebacker Rolando McClain active. McClain was arrested Thursday after an incident in which a gun was fired in public. He was released on bail after being charged with discharging a firearm in public, third degree assault, menacing and reckless endangerment.

Head coach Hue Jackson had said Friday he was going to wait on his decision about McClain until he had a chance to speak with the player. He spoke with him Friday and McClain's reported contrition likely helped soothe Jackson's concerns to some extent. What also might have helped is a report that the Raiders own investigation of the incident has revealed details that contradict the allegations against McClain.

The Raiders also deactivated Darren McFadden, Jacoby Ford, Denarius Moore and Taiwan Jones. Carson Palmer will once again be short several of his key weapons as the Raiders look to maintain their lead in the AFC West.

Raiders Inactives: QB Jason Campbell, WR Jacoby Ford, WR Denarius Moore, RB Darren McFadden, RB Taiwan Jones, G B. Campbell, DE Jarvis Moss

Dolphins Inactives: RB Steve Slaton, LB Ikaika Alama-Francis, T Will Barker, G Ray Feinga, G Vernon Carey, TE Will Yeatman, DT Ryan Baker
