VIDEO: Ndamukong Suh Blocks Sebastian Janikowski Game-Winning FG Attempt

Stay connected for news and updates

Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh needs to make amends for his transgressions on Thanksgiving weekend when he ended up getting suspended for stomping on a Green Bay Packers linemen. Suh was out two weeks and the Lions ended up losing one of those two contests. It looked like the Lions would be in bad shape if they lost another one.

So it was up to Suh to try and fix things at the end of the game against the Oakland Raiders. And when the Raiders drove down the field to set up a game-winning field goal attempt for Sebastian Janikowski, Suh had the perfect antidote.

Suh's block probably will ensure the Lions are in good shape to clinch a playoff spot. Big victory here, and possibly a small note of redemption for Suh.
