Raiders Vs. Packers: Green Bay Remains Perfect As Oakland Get Blown Out

The Oakland Raiders suffered a crushing defeat on Sunday at the hands of the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. The Raiders were not picked by many to win and their chances were borne out by the 46-16 final score.

The Packers beat up on Oakland in the first half, not allowing them to score at all en route to a 31-0 halftime lead. The Raiders were able to get on the board in the second half, but the damage had already been done.

A bright spot for the Raiders offense was wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey, who appears to be bouncing back rather well from a recent injury. He led Raiders receivers with 78 yards on five catches with a long of 34. Louis Murphy was also solid on the receiving end, finishing with 70 yards on four catches.

Michael Bush led Oakland rushers with 78 yards on 23 carries, including a 2 yard touchdown run that got the Raiders on the board in the third quarter.

Oakland's other scores came in the fourth quarter. The Raiders defense pick up a safety when backup Packers quarterback Matt Flynn was sacked in the end zone by Rolando McClain. The only touchdown pass from the Oakland side came when Carson Palmer hooked up with Kevin Boss with less than 5:00 remaining.

Palmer's game was marred by inaccuracy. He finished the game 24-for-42 with four interceptions and a dismal 42.4 passer rating.
