The Oakland Athletics continued their dominance of the Seattle Mariners on Saturday evening, defeating their rivals by a final score of 6-1.
The A's got on the board first when Josh Reddick scored on a fielding error in the top of the first inning. The Mariners tied things up in the bottom of the second when Trayvon Robinson managed an RBI groundout.
Oakland put together a big four-run fourth inning against Hisashi Iwakuma, scoring on a Stephen Drew single, a home run from George Kottaras and an RBI double from Coco Crisp. Yoenis Cespedes drove in the final Oakland run with a sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning.
Brett Anderson was once again lights-out, going six innings and allowing one run on six hits and no walks to improve to 4-0 since coming off the disabled list. The A's will go for the sweep on Sunday.
