The A's need a win desperately. A series win would be even better. They visit the Royals for a three-game series.

On Friday, the Oakland Athletics will visit the Kansas City Royals for a three-game series at Kauffman Stadium. The A's are desperately in need of a series win after being swept in back-to-back series. The Royals, meanwhile, are coming off series wins over the Cleveland Indians and Baltimore Orioles and would like nothing more than to stretch Oakland's losing streak to seven games and beyond.

The A's know they will need to get back to their winning ways in order to stay ahead of the suddenly-surging Los Angeles Angels.

TV Schedule & Probable Pitchers

Friday's opener will begin at 5:10 p.m. PT and will be televised on CSN California. You can catch the radio broadcast on 95.7 FM The Game. Bartolo Colon will get the start for Oakland and attempt to stop both the team's skid and his own personal run of recent sub-par outings. Felipe Paulino takes the hill for the Royals. Saturday's first pitch will be at 11:10 a.m. PT and will be televised on CSN California and the MLB Network. You can catch the radio broadcast on 95.7 FM The Game.
