The Oakland A's got some good news regarding outfielder Yoenis Cespedes, after an MRI revealed only a strained hand muscle in the slugger's left hand, now being considered day-to-day according to CSN Bay Area.

"No breaks," Skipper Bob Melvin said. "Good news."

Cespedes, 26, left Tuesday's batting practice after feeling some pain in the hand, and was announced to be scratched from the lineup only an hour before first pitch. Any time an MRI is needed you tend to prepare for the worst, luckily Oakland dodged a bullet this time.

Cespedes currently sits one homer behind Josh Reddick for the team lead with five, though leads the A's with 28 games played, 21 RBI, and only 29 strikeouts in 106 at bats.
