The Oakland Athletics are hanging tough in the AL West, but will get some help coming next week as both Yoenis Cespedes and Manny Ramirez could be activated for their upcoming series with the Kansas City Royals, according to the San Francisco Chronicle's John Shea.
BP went great for Cespedes, is the word. Seems headed for Sac tomorrow to join Manny. Together again

The A's also made a roster change in the pitching department as The Oakland A's recalled pitcher Andrew Carignan from Triple-A Sacramento, while optioning pitcher Graham Godfrey to Sacramento.
Carignan has been with Oakland twice this season already, owning a 1-1 record with a 7.11 ERA in seven appearances. Godfrey is 0-4 with a 6.43 ERA for Oakland this season and had issues with a finger injury in his last start against on Tuesday.
