The A's will head to Southern California for their first 2012 series against their division rival Angels. They will try to take advantage of a Los Angeles team that is struggling.
The Oakland Athletics will head to Southern California on Monday for a short two-game series against the Los Angeles Angels. The A's are coming off a homestand that saw them go 3-3, while the Angels are coming off a road trip that also had them going 3-3.
The difference is that the Angels could only take two of three from the pathetic Twins to start that trip. While they managed to take a game from the first-place Texas Rangers, they were blown out in their other two games in Arlington. The A's two split series against the Toronto Blue Jays and Detroit Tigers look a bit more impressive by comparison
