Warriors PF David Lee To Have Surgery Friday, Stephen Curry's Ankle Scope 'Successful'

From Stephen Curry To Kwame Brown to Andrew Bogut and now David Lee, the Golden State Warriors simply can't shake the injury bug this season.

Warriors forward David Lee will have surgery to repair a torn abdominal muscle in Philadelphia on Friday according to the Contra Costa Times' Marcus Thompson

Lee sat out the last seven games of the season with what was diagnosed as a strained groin and a stress reaction, discovered during an April 13 MRI at team facilites. Lee visited specialist Dr. William Meyers out in Philadelphia to have his injury checked out which after further examination showed enough to merit surgery.

In other surgery news, Stephen Curry's scope of his oft injured ankle was 'successful,' removing some scar tissue and bone spurs while revealing no structural damage. His recovery time is seen as anywhere from 3-4 months.
