Warriors Vs. Raptors Preview: Monta Ellis, David Lee Looking For Much Needed Victory

The Toronto Raptors are usually a team the Golden State Warriors enjoy playing, but after their last two showings on the hardwood, The W's just need to get back in the groove.

The Warriors have been in a serious funk the last few outings, who averaged 104.3 points in winning two of three games prior to the All-Star break, but only 82.0 points on 38.4 percent shooting in two of their last three since the break.

Against Philadelphia on Friday, Golden State trailed by only three at halftime. But thanks to a 36 point second half , they took the embarrassing 105-83 loss. And with te team likely without Stephen Curry again, who has a 30.3 average against Toronto in four carrer meetings, Mark Jackson will have to look somewhere else to get his offense this evening.

Monta Ellis and David Lee really need to take control of the game early, setting the tone for the rest of the team, especially on offense. Toronto only averages 89.6 points per game this season, so even the W's have a shot at keeping up tonight. The Raptors are rather staunch on defense though, allowing 94.1 points per game.

Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. PT with coverage on CSN Bay Area.
