Warriors Vs. Hornets: David Lee Leads W's Into Big Easy

Stay connected for news and updates

The Golden State Warriors have lost four in a row. People are starting to get booed. Maybe the quest for a top 7 protected pick in the upcoming NBA Draft isn't much closer than you think after all.

The W's roll through New Orleans Wednesday night to take on the Hornets (11-34), who already have likely locked themselves up a lottery pick this year, but are coming off one of their best wins of the year 102-94 victory over the Nets. These teams haven't played each other in over a year, and each have a few days of rest under their belts heading into the matchup.

Sitting in 13th place in the Western Conference at 18-25, the W's aren't too far behind the Hornets out west, and with 23 games left on the regular schedule, have a great chance to lock up two first round picks in their own and the one they got in the Richard Jefferson deal from San Antonio. And with Stephen Curry continually hobbled and Andris Biedrins recently straining his groin, Golden State will be even more short handed tonight in the Big Easy.

Tipoff is set for 5:00 p.m. PT from New Orleans Arena with coverage on CSN Bay Area.
