The Golden State Warriors entered the Fedex Forum looking for an elusive road victory Saturday night, while the Memphis Grizzlies were looking to keep their train rolling with another victory. And thanks to a late game tip-in, the Griz held on to secure the hard-fought 104-103 victory.
Tony Allen put back a Rudy Gay miss with 5.6 seconds to ensure their fourth straight victory, though the Warriors had one last chance. David Lee was unfortunately called for an offensive foul with about a second left, just one of their 13 turnovers on the night.
Stephen Curry led the Warriors (11-17) with season high tying 36 points, including 6-9 from downtown. Monta Ellis had an excellent game as well, dropping 33 points, though it would ultimately prove not enough.
