NBA All-Star Game 2012: Stephen Curry To Defend Title In Skills Challenge

The Golden State Warriors went almost unrepresented at All-Star weekend this year in Orlando. That is until the league added Stephen Curry to the Taco Bell Skills Challenge, making him to sole player from the Warriors taking part in any event this year on All-Star Saturday.

Monta Ellis was snubbed as an All-Star reserve, and both Brandon Rush and rookie Klay Thompson were not sleceted for the three-point contest either, despite Rush leading the league from downtown and Thompson shooting over 50% from behind the arc.

Both Thompson and second-year big man Ekpe Udoh weren't selected for Rookie-Sophomore game, and undrafted rookie Chris Wright and his insane hops weren't even considered for the Dunk contest. Thankfully the league brought Curry back to defend his 2011 title.

Curry will be up against former Warrior Jeremy Lin in the skills challenge as well, while Lin will also be taking part in the Rookie-Sophomore game as well.
