Stay connected for news and updates

The Warriors came into Oracle Arena Sunday night brimming with confidence after their road victory in Denver on Thursday, but so were the Houston Rockets, bringing three straight road wins along with them to the party. But thanks to a late surge from the W’s they take a 48-44 lead into the locker room at the half.

Monta Ellis and Stephen Curry are pacing Golden State so far, with Monta dropping 14 points and six assists while Steph added nine points and three assists. Brandon Rush and Klay Thompson both have had some solid time on the floor, dropping six and five poitns respectfully, while Ekpe Udoh has been working hard on defense and was a +13 in the first half.

Kevin Martin and Luis Scola lead the way for Houston, with Scola nearing a first half double-double with eight points and eight rebounds. Martin has 10 points on 3-5 from downtown.

Both teams continue to turn the ball over, (13 and 12 in the first half) but the W’s are hanging tough so far, hopefully the can maintain for the second half.
