Warriors Vs. Rockets Preview: W's Return Home To Face Surging Rockets

The Houston Rockets are in the middle of their longest road trip off the season, bringing three straights wins with them to Oracle Arena Sunday night. But the Golden State Warriors just earned a great road win of their own out in Denver, and return to Oakland with some confidence as the take on this surging Houston squad.

The Rockets (16-11) have been paced by the bench as of late, outscoring the Suns bench 53-17 their last time out, and was crucial to their victory in Portland two games ago as well. Houston has also won 12 of their last 13 against Golden State, and six of the last seven at Oracle.

Stephen Curry is coming off his best night of the season for the Warriors (9-14), while reserve center Ekpe Udoh had an impressive five blocks and was a defensive force in the paint, hopefully similar performances can come from both.

Tipoff is set for 6:00 p.m. PT with coverage on CSN Bay Area.

For more on the W’s head over to Golden State of Mind.
