Warriors Vs. Jazz Final Score: W's Lose At Home In Final Seconds, 88-87

The Golden State Warriors hosted the Utah Jazz on Saturday night at the Oracle Arena. The Warriors were hoping to get back on the winning track, but things didn't quite work out that way. Golden State suffered the 88-87 loss to fall to a 2-6 record. Utah, meanwhile, picked up their first road win of the season.

The Warriors had a rough first quarter, falling behind 27-19 in the opening frame. They battled back in the second and third quarters, outscoring the Jazz in those quarters by 27-18 and 20-18. Despite leading 66-63 heading into the fourth quarter, the final seconds were not kind to the W's.

Golden State led 87-85 with 0:41 left. Al Jefferson sank a shot at 0:33 to tie the game up. Monta Ellis had the ball stolen on a bad pass and Gordon Hayward drew a shooting foul with 11 seconds left, but only made one of his two free throws. The Warriors were down by one point with nine seconds left on the clock , but Monta Ellis missed a jumper at the buzzer and the Jazz came away with the win.

Ellis led all scorers with 32 points, also picking up three rebounds and six assists. David Lee notched a double-double for Golden State with 13 points and 15 rebounds.
