Stephen Curry Injury: Curry Could Suit Up Against Pacers

Stay connected for news and updates

According to Golden State Warriors insider Matt Steinmetz, Stephen Curry might be suiting up for the W’s this evening against the Indiana Pacers, the first time he’ll take the floor since January 4 against the Spurs.

“Hopefully I can go,” Curry said when asked at Friday shootaround if he would play. “I still have a couple more hurdles to clear before I do that.”

Curry has been electric when actually on the court with the Warriors, averaging 15.2 points and 5.6 assists in limited time this season. He’s sprained the same ankle seven times over the last 16 months, and even a offseason surgery to improve stability hasn’t helped him much.

Nate Robinson and rookie Charles Jenkins have been filing in admirably in his absence, but there’s no substitute for # 30, who will hopefully be staying away from the injury bug for a while.
