Warriors Vs. Suns: Monta Ellis To Play in Phoenix

According to CSN Bay Area’s Golden State Warriors Insider Matt Steinmetz, SG Monta Ellis will rejoin the team for their Monday meeting with the Phoenix Suns in the desert, reuniting the W’s back court for the first time since Saturday.

Ellis had been dealing with the death of his Grandmother in Mississippi, but was present at a team breakfast Monday morning and will be good to go later today.

Ellis was sorely missed against the 76ers, as without the team’s leading scorer they let the Sixers run away with the game in the second half, losing by the score of 107-79. Hopefully Ellis can get it rolling against Phoenix, a team that has struggled offensively thus far this season; a far cry from Phoenix teams of yesteryear.
