Warriors Vs. Cavaliers Preview: W's Hit Cleveland Looking To Build Momentum On The Road

After their first road win of the year against the Detroit Pistons on Sunday, the Golden State Warriors head to Quicken Loans Arena on Tuesday looking to keep the wins coming against the Cavaliers.

There were some promising signs that guard Stephen Curry wouldn't miss his seventh straight game dealing with his recurring ankle sprain problem, but as San Francisco Chronicle reporter Rusty Simmons tweeted, he likely won't be suiting up against the Cavs:

That's bad news as the Warriors (4-8) will have to deal with Cavaliers' (6-6) rookie sensation Kyrie Irving, coming off a 25 point and seven assist performance in their 102-94 win at Charlotte on Monday, scoring the last nine in the process. Irving has been getting into a groove as of late, averaging 22.6 points on 55.0% shooting in the last five games.

David Lee and Monta Ellis made a nice one-two punch on Sunday, while the W's bench was highly productive, a formula that will need to keep working if they want to keep winning. The Cavs will be a perfect test to see if they can keep it going.

Tipoff is set for 4:00 pm PT with coverage on CSN Bay Area and KNBR 680 AM.
