Warriors Vs. Magic: Mark Jackson Talks 'Hack-A-Dwight' In Postgame Presser

Stay connected for news and updates

Golden State Warriors head coach Mark Jackson employed a bit off an odd game plan against the Orlando Magic- hack Dwight Howard like no one before (literally) send him to the time an NBA record 39 times in a 117-109 loss at Oracle Arena Thursday night.

Mark Jackson would explain himself in the post game press conference, noting that his players were fighting and staying in it, but couldn't come up with enough answers against Superman.

"He's [Howard] a great player, and a bad free throw shooter. Trying to give ourselves the best chance possible, tried to mess up their rhythm, take their three point shooters out of it...you have to figure out a way to stop him, and his weakness is foul shooting."

"We put ourselves in position to win the ballgame...but if we play with the energy and effort we did tonight we're going to be fine."
