The Golden State Warriors haven't earned themselves a whole lot of wins thus far in the season, but the once's they have are against the Bulls, Knicks, and Heat, three of the top teams of the Eastern Conference. Next up at Oracle comes Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic, and a whole new bag of tricks for Mark Jackson to deal with.
The Magic (7-3) are coming off their win at the Rose Garden on Wednesday, the Blazers only loss at home this season. Orlando led by as much as 23 points but won by only three. Conversely, the Warriors (3-6) did the opposite to the Heat on Tuesday, rallying from 17 down to force overtime and earn the improbable win. Something similar might have to happen Thursday night.
With Andris Biedrins expected to return and Kwame Brown questionable with a shoulder injury, a lot of responsibility will be put on Davld Lee to have a big game, and a repeat performance from Tuesday night from Nate Robinson and/or Dorell Wright wouldn't hurt either. Biedrins may not be 100% still, but will have his hands full as well dealing with Superman.
The W's only have wins against top-tier Eastern opponents. Let's see if that trend continues tonight. Tipoff is set for 7:30 pm PT with coverage on TNT and KNBR 680 AM.
