Warriors vs. Kings, NBA Scores: Monta Ellis Suffers Possible Concussion, Kings Top W's 104-103

As the Kings continue their farewell tour, they made their last stop ever at Oralce Arena tonight as the Sacramanto Kings, and made sure to make the most of it as a late rally got them past the Golden State Warriors for a stunning 104-103 win tonight.

The Warriors had led for most of the game until an 11-0 run by the Kigns got them back into the game, then Marcus Thornton hit a jumper with about 12 seconds left in the game to put the Kings up for good. With the win the Kings effectively ended the Warriors 3 game winning streak, and gave the fans in the Bay something to remember them by when they’re gone

Monta Ellis left late in the fourth quarter with a head injury after falling hard after a foul, slamming his skull against the court. The extent of the injury is not yet known for sure yet, but Ellis could definitely have suffered a concussion, leaving him out for the last few games on the W’s schedule. Steph Curry had 27 points on 11-17 shooting, David Lee added a double-double with 24 points and 14 boards. Dorell Wright added 19 and Ekpe Udoh had 10 points and 4 blocks. The W’s out rebounded the Kings 52-43 and shot 45% from the floor.

Marcus Thornton led the Kings with 21 points, DeMarcus Cousins had a double-double with 15 points and 13 boards, while Tyreke Evans and Beno Udrih added 14 apiece. The Kings had 23 turnovers as a team that led to 27 points for Golden State, but it still wasn’t enough for the W’s to get the win.

Next up for the Warriors is their second to last game of the season as they make their final road trip of the season to face the Denver Nuggets at the Pepsi Center tomorrow. Tipoff is set for 6:00 p.m. and can be seen on CSN Bay Plus and heard on KNBR 1050 AM.
