Stay connected for news and updates

After taking a 4 point in the first quarter the Golden State Warriors were outscored 33-21 in the second as the Oklahoma City Thunder took a 58-50 lead into the locker room at halftime. All-Star Kevin Durant’s 15 points on 6-9 shooting from the floor have led the Thunder so far, but the W’s are well within reach.

The Warriors offense was keeping them in the game with David Lee leading the way with 13 points and 7 rebounds as well as 12 from Stephen Curry on 5-7 shooting from the floor. Monta Ellis has 8 with 6 dimes while Reggie Williams added 7 in 5 minutes off the bench. The W’s shot an abismal 2-10 from downtown but a perfect 8-8 from the charity stripe.

Aside from Kevin Durant, the Thunder were getting production from two of their other scorers, Russell Westbrook and Serge Ibaka, both of whom have 8 points in the half. However Kendrick Perkins remains scoreless in 13 minutes on the floor with 4 rebounds. Both teams have committed 8 turnovers, though the Thunder have 11 points compared to the W’s 4 to show for it.

You knew it was going to be a shootout in the Sooner State this evening, now the question is which scorer is going to dominate the second half; Monta or Durant?
