NBA Free Agents 2011: Tyson Chandler To Meet With Warriors

Stay connected for news and updates

According to ESPN's Marc Stein, free agent big man Tyson Chandler will meet face-to-face with representatives from the Golden State Warriors next week, according to sources close to the situation.

Along with the W's, Chandler will meet with the New Jersey Nets and Houston Rockets, who has a strong feeling that he won't be coming back to Dallas:

"I really think I'm going to be on a new team come training camp."

Many sources have noted that Golden State, Houston and New Jersey are the most serious suitors for Chandler, though the Nugs and Nets are still eyeing Brazilian big man Nene as well.

Contact between team executives, coaches and free agents will commence Monday at 10 a.m. ET. Free agency is scheduled to begin that following Friday, which is the first day teams will be allowed to make signings and trades, according to the NBA.
