Giants have three prospects in Rising Stars game

Some future San Francisco Giants talent will be on display at the Arizona Fall League Rising Stars Game in Arizona this Saturday.

OF Gary Brown, P Heath Hembree and 1B Ricky Oropesa will be representing the San Francisco Giants in this year's Rising Stars Game for the East Division of the Arizona Fall League, according to CSN Bay Area.

Brown, 24, was a first-round pick in 2010 and batted .279 with 73 runs and 33 stolen bases in 134 games in Double-A this past season.

Hembree, 23, has spent three years in the Giants system and was promoted to their Triple-A affiliate this past year. With the Fresno Grizzles, Hembree saw action in 39 games going 1-1 with a 4.74 ERA and 36 strikeouts across 38 innings.

Oropesa, 22, played in High-A ball this past season, compiling 16 home runs and 98 RBIs with a .263/.338/.425 line.

The game will be taking place on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 5 p.m. PT at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale, Ariz., the spring training facility for the Colorado Rockies and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
