The San Francisco Giants completed a 4-0 sweep of the Detroit Tigers in the World Series without the services of outfielder Melky Cabrera, who was suspended for 50 games on Aug. 15 after a positive high-testosterone test. Despite that violation, Cabrera is reportedly drawing offseason interest from "at least five teams," according to the New York Post.

In 113 games in 2012, the free agent Cabrera hit .346 with 11 home runs and 60 RBI. Two of the teams reported to be courting the 28 year old are the Philadelphia Phillies and the New York Mets, though the New York Post report says neither the Yankees nor the Mets have expressed interest.

Cabrera was reinstated after his 50-game ban on Oct. 13, but the Giants did not include him on the playoff roster. Over his eight-year career with four teams, the left-handed hitter has a .284 batting average with 69 home runs and 417 RBI.
