Giants set roster for NL Division Series vs. Reds

The San Francisco Giants have released their 25-man roster for the NLDS.

The San Francisco Giants have officially unveiled their lineup for the National League Division Series. The Giants will take on the Cincinnati Reds, who won 98 games and the National League Central in 2012. With Game 1 set for Saturday evening, Bruce Bochy has set the 25 players for the best-of-five series.

As for the pitchers on the roster, Tim Lincecum, Matt Cain, Madison Bumgarner and Barry Zito are the starting pitchers. Sergio Romo, Javier Lopez, Santiago Casilla, Jeremy Affeldt, Jose Mijares, George Kontos and Guillermo Mota will man the bullpen.

The position players are Buster Posey and Hector Sanchez behind the plate. Brandon Belt, with Marco Scutaro, Brandon Crawford and Pablo Sandoval expected in the infield.

Gregor Blanco, Angel Pagan and Hunter Pence will be in the outfield. Joaquin Arias, Aubrey Huff, Ryan Theriot and Xavier Nady will be on the bench for Bochy.
