The GIants World Series parade will snake along Market St., ending at City Hall where the team will receive the key to the city.
The moment has arrived for Giants fans has arrived as fans will line the streets of San Francisco to celebrate their team's second World Series title in three years. The parade begins at 11 a.m. PT on Market St. at Steuart St. and snake along Market past Third and Sixth Streets. The floats will then turn right on to McAllister, ending at City Hall and Civic Center Plaza. A complete map of the parade route is listed below.
As the parade concludes, the Civic Celebration will begin, where Mayor Ed Lee will present the team with the key to the city, followed by comments from players, coaches and other members of the organization. The event is open to the public and is free.
According to the Giants website, fans attending either the parade or Civic Celebration are strongly encouraged to arrive early and take public transportation including MUNI, BART, Caltrain, Golden Gate Transit, SamTrans, and ferries.
