San Francisco will take a 2-0 series lead into Comerica Park on Saturday behind the arm of Ryan Vogelsong in Game 3.

The San Francisco Giants will try to put a stranglehold on the 2012 World Series with a 3-0 lead behind the arm of Game 3 starter Ryan Vogelsong.

After prevailing in the first two contests with Barry Zito and Madison Bumgarner on the mound, the Giants will have their two most effective pitchers for Game 3 and Game 4 in Detroit as Matt Cain figures to draw the start for Sunday. For the Tigers, Anibal Sanchez and Max Scherzer will draw the starts opposite them.

The story of the postseason for the Giants has been their stellar play from behind, as they fell back in both the NLDS and NLCS against the Cincinnati Reds and St. Louis Cardinals before prevailing in each of those series. This time around, they will play with a two-game cushion with the pressure squarely on Detroit.

Here are the full details for Game 3 of the 2012 World Series:

Game Time / Date: Saturday, 8 p.m. ET

Location: Comerica Park, Detroit, Mich.

Radio: ESPN Radio

TV: Fox, RSN
