The Detroit Tigers face the San Francisco Giants in Game 2 of the World Series, as Madison Bumgarner tries to pitch San Francisco to a 2-0 lead over Doug Fister.
The Giants won Game 1 over the Tigers 8-3. Pablo Sandoval had four hits in four at-bats, including tying a World Series record with three home runs in one game. Sandoval had three home runs in his first three at-bats, including two off of Justin Verlander. Verlander was chased after four innings of work, giving up six hits, five earned runs, and the crucial three homers.
