The Pac-12 basketball tournament has been at Staples Center in Los Angeles forever, but it appears to be ready to move on to another location. Staples has been unsatisfying as a college basketball location or a place to host a tournament, and now the conference is ready to try out a new place.

Cal and Stanford fans would probably be more inclined to fly down for a long weekend in Vegas as opposed to the traffic pithole that is Los Angeles, and it might be a great boon to the local Vegas economy as a result.
