Saint Mary's has locked up an NCAA tournament bid, while Cal waits for the selection show to determine if it has done enough to get to the 2012 NCAA Tournament. Will the Bears join in March Madness?

March Madness is officially at hand as the 2012 NCAA Selection Show is set for Sunday afternoon. Selection Sunday provides a chance for fans to figure out where their team is going to play in the NCAA tournament. And of course there are also the usual snubs that leave some teams disappointed and heading to the NIT.
For the Bay Area, there should be no snubs this year. Saint Mary's has secured a spot in the NCAA tournament thanks to its victory in the West Coast Conference Championship Game. They completed arguably the best regular season in school history and will look to build on that in the NCAA tournament. California lost in Friday Pac-12 semifinals, but they have likely done enough, even in a weak Pac-12, to secure an at large bid to the Dance. They will find out for certain this afternoon.
When: March 11 at 3 PM PT
TV Schedule: CBS
Where: Banker's Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis
Broadcast Team: Jeff Hathaway, Jim Nantz, Clark Kellogg, Steve Kerr, Greg Gumbel, Greg Anthony and Seth Davis
Immediately following the traditional Selection Sunday show on CBS, TruTV will air a new show called 'Hardcore Brackets' discussing the selections and snubs. It will feature Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith, among others.
