Kenny Lawler Commits To Cal Over Oklahoma State, Oregon State

The California Golden Bears have been hurting the past few weeks with recruiting defections, and lost two wide receivers in Jordan Payton and Kenny Walker (apparently both to UCLA). But Cedric Dozier stuck with his commitment to Cal, and now the Bears land their first victory of National Signing Day when they got Kenny Lawler to verbal to the Bears over Oklahoma State and Washington State.

Walker is definitely one of the top wide receivers in California and has taken his time making a decision as to where he wants to attend college. He does come with some academic concerns, but if he can get those straightened out, he should be able to thrive in a pro-style offense with his all-around skills.

To discuss Lawler and the Bears, head on over to the California Golden Blogs. To talk about Oklahoma State football recruiting, check out Cowboys Ride For Free. To discuss Oregon State football recruiting, go to Building The Dam.
