California coach Sonny Dykes continues to fill out his coaching staff Friday, adding two more offensive coaches.

New California football coach Sonny Dykes continued to complete his coaching staff Friday, hiring two more coaches.

Dykes hired Mark Tommerdahl to serve as special teams coordinator and inside receivers coach while Pierre Ingram will coach the running backs. Both Tommerdahl and Ingram worked under Dykes at Louisiana Tech. Dykes said Tommerdahl has a track record for developing some of the strongest special teams units in the country. He called Ingram one of the best young coaches in the nation.

With Tommerdahl and Ingram on board, Dykes has now hired four assistant coaches. All four joined California after coaching under Dykes at Louisiana Tech. Tommerdahl has also coached at Texas A&M, Alabama, TCU, New Mexico and Minnesota.

Dykes previously announced the hiring of offensive coordinator Tony Franklin and assistant head coach and outside receivers coach Rob Likens. While the offensive coaching staff has taken shape, Dykes has yet to hire any defensive coaches.
