Utah has yet to win a game in the Pac-12; Cal is looking like it could be the first victim. After three quarters of play, the Utes' lead continues to grow over the Golden Bears, 42-13.
Trailing 28-6 at halftime, Cal allowed for Utah's run game to dominate throughout the third quarter, just as they had in the first and second. The Utes' John White rushed for two touchdowns to widen the scoring gap to 42-6. With no time left in the quarter, Cal would finally answer Utah with a Brendan Bigelow rush for 57 yards and the touchdown. Bigelow's touchdown would be on his first carry of the night.
Cal quarterback Zach Maynard is 10-for-18 for 145 yards and 1 interception.
The Bears' defense has no answer for Utah's run game, as all four touchdowns by the Utes have come on the ground. The Bears D-corps have given up a total of 170 rushing yards after three quarters.
